Jimbo Fisher — Florida State Head Coach

Jimbo Fisher is a West Virginia native (as is Nick Saban) who has spent his entire career since 1993 (except for the 1999 season) coaching in the south.

Fisher was the quarterbacks coach at Auburn from 1993-98, and he was the offensive coordinator at LSU from 2000-06. He then went to Florida State to be Bobby Bowden’s offensive coordinator in 2007. He took over as head coach in 2010, winning a national championship in 2013.

On paper, and in person, there might not be a better person to be Tennessee’s coach than Fisher. He has the experience, he gets the culture, and he’s coached under Nick Saban.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Fisher could bring Jay Graham home.

It would take a lot of money to bring Fisher to Knoxville, but he would be one of the best options to lead the Vols in 2018.
