I’m not going to lie to you, I didn’t think the Titans stood a chance of erasing an 18 point deficit against the Chiefs.
Even after Mariota’s touchdown pass to himself, I still thought the Titans’ season was over.
But what can I say, the Titans kept fighting and they were able to grind out a 22-21 victory by scoring 19 unanswered points.

In 1992, the Bills came back from 25 down against the Oilers. They would eventually reach the Super Bowl (they lost to Dallas).
In 2013, the Colts erased a 21 point deficit against the Chiefs (they lost in the next round to the Patriots).
The other team to erase a large halftime deficit was the Patriots in last year’s Super Bowl.
