Jauan Jennings has been cut by the San Fransisco 49ers, and the Tennessee Titans should bring him back to Tennessee to play receiver.

The Tennessee Titans have signed Jadeveon Clowney to bring him to Nashville finally, so they should balance that out by signing Jauan Jennings for the offense.

Jennings was cut by the San Francisco 49ers on cut day, and hope to bring him back on the practice squad if he clears the waivers. He is one of many rookies that suffered from there being no preseason or any opportunity for him to prove that he has what it takes to compete on the field in the NFL.

If he clears the waivers and joins the 49ers’ practice squad, then the likelihood of him getting playing time will be small. The Titans shouldn’t let Jennings clear waivers and should bring him to Nashville.

The Titans could be looking for a replacement for Corey Davis if he’s unable to make the impact that the Titans need him to and Jennings could help the Titans with that.

I don’t know if Jennings will be a good enough NFL wide receiver to be the Titans’ No. 2 WR for the long-term, but he could work his way up the depth chart. Give Jennings the season to learn the offense and work his way up and see what he can offer you on offense.

There’s no doubt that he’s tough, he has heart, and he’s determined to be great. Isn’t that what every coach asks of his players? Play with heart and compete until the whistle blows on every play, and you’re bound to find yourself on the field at some point. That’s exactly how Jennings plays every game.

Next. The Jadeveon Clowney saga is finally over. dark

There’s nothing that the Titans could lose from bringing the dawg back home to Nashville. Give the Tennessee fan base what they want, Jennings back in the Volunteer State.
