It looks like we won’t be seeing A.J. Brown play against the Vikings, so the Tennessee Titans receivers are going to have to step up again.

The Tennessee Titans were without their No. 1 receiver, A.J. Brown, last week and could be without him for multiple more weeks, including Sunday against the Vikings.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Brown is suffering from “pretty significant knee bruise” and hasn’t responded well to treatment.

We probably won’t see Brown until at least Week 5, which means the Titans have to overcome not having their best receiver for the next few weeks. In the first two weeks of the season, we’ve seen two different receivers step up for the Titans.

The Titans have plenty of talent on their roster, especially at receiver, so the Titans can fill the gap that will be made with Brown being out, but the question comes down to who will be the player to step up and can they consistently produce over the next few weeks?

The Titans’ top-three receivers, Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith, and Adam Humphries, all have the talent to have 100 receiving yards in a game. Ryan Tannehill has also proven that he’s back and ready to sling the ball this season.

I think we could see Humphries have his breakout game this week after Davis had his breakout game in Week 1 and Smith had his breakout game in Week 2.

Even though Davis had a solid Week 1, his Week 2 performance wasn’t great, so he needs to respond and have another good game this week. He’s playing for a second contract with the Titans and he needs to finish with more than 1,000 receiving yards to give himself a chance to earn that contract.

Next. Will Derrick Henry have his breakout game on Sunday?. dark

The Titans kickoff at Noon CT against the Vikings on the road. The Vikings will be looking for their first win and the Titans will be looking to continue their winning streak and improve to 3-0 on the year.
