2. Running Game/Offensive Line

While Mariota will be a huge strength for the Titans in 2017, their offensive identity revolves around their running game and offensive line.

The Titans have one of the best one-two punches in the league at running back — if not the best.

DeMarco Murray, who excelled in his first year with the Titans, provides the team with not only a veteran presence on offense, but also the ability to take over a game. His “backup”, Derrick Henry, is a rising star in the NFL. I feel sorry for any safety that attempts to tackle the former Alabama running back.

Tennessee’s offensive line, however, is the true star of the show. Right tackle Jack Conklin was one of the best rookies in the NFL last year. He might not be a household name, but you’d be hard pressed to find a rookie who helped their team more than Conklin last season.

On the other side of the line, left tackle Taylor Lewan is among the best in the league.

The Titans’ offensive line/running game will likely be what wins games as the season reaches November and December.
